Here's a lovely table runner from Judee Koda is made with one of the 2008 State Flower blocks, the Maine Pine Cone. Judee has only been quilting a little over a year. She says, "I am a newcomer to quilting, so the quilting isn't what I would like, but this is a keeper. I found some pine cone fabric and used it as backing too. I plan to make more blocks for Christmas gifts. The quilting I did on this runner was the first attempt with freezer paper. I like it!" The blocks are beautiful, and that pine cone fabric couldn't be more perfect. Thank you, Judee, and keep up the good work!
