This stunning quilt is the third quilt by Valinda Makar to appear in this Guest Gallery. In fact, her Bonny Baskets Quilt received a first prize at the county fair! This time Valinda made the Twilight Garden Quilt, Jeanne Rae Crafts' 2005 Block of the Month. Here's what Valinda said about her quilt:
"I used a mottled black and gray background which gives it some depth. I used silver thread for quilting to add stars. The most interesting thing is that I used a quilt as you go technique. The backing of each is made of matching material . The backing looks like a scrappy quilt. [This quilt] kept me busy at a special time. This will be one quilt I won't give away."
