This gallery is dedicated to my incredibly talented family! See several other examples in the Guest Gallery.
Rexy and Ivy are two very talented young ladies. Rexy is 10 years old and Ivy is 8. For the past two years, they've sold their handmade jewelry and pottery as young crafters at the Greater Barre Craft Guild's fair in November in Barre, Vermont.
Recently, Rexy made a quilt from her Nana Sharon's stash. She chose all the fabrics, designed and did all the sewing. Wow, what an awesome quilt, Rexy!
My granddaughters Emma, 8, and Jenny, 6, just love to sew. Last month, they both made a little placemat to use for their tea parties. Didn't they do a wonderful job?!
Not to be outdone, Nicolas, my 4-year-old youngest grandson, made a project while the girls were sewing. His "Grumpy" (Bill) helped with the project. Nicolas used a saw, a hammer, a screwdriver and a staple gun to put together a bird feeder.
